<p class="text-muted mb-3">Interaction recruitment Milton Keynes are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers who will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods within the designated routes. The role requires adherence to all relevant road safety regulations and company policies, ensuring the secure loading, transit, and delivery of products to customers or distribution centres. The client operates heavy goods vehicles in compliance with legal and organisational standards, maintaining excellent service quality throughout the delivery process.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate Class 2 heavy goods vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To complete 2-3 deliveries per shift to Distribution Centres.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan and follow efficient routes in line with delivery schedules and customer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate delivery records, including documentation of goods received and delivered.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comply with all relevant health and safety, traffic, and transport legislation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators and customers to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained according to company standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adhere to company policies on timekeeping, conduct, and professionalism at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Required Qualifications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Category C driving licence with a current digital tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for drivers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driver Qualification Card (DQC) up to date.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum of 2 years experience required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver, ideally within logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in handling goods loading and unloading safely.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Familiarity with route planning and time management for deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">2 years driving experience on HGV Class 2.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge and Skills</p>
