<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will play a key role in keeping the city clean and supporting environmental sustainability. Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Assisting with the collection of waste and recycling materials.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Loading and unloading recycling boxes and containers.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Pushing and pulling bins weighing up to 25kg.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Using mobile technology to complete operational paperwork and route information.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Providing support to other service areas, including recycling and garden waste collections when required.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Maintaining high standards of health, safety and customer service at all times.</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be successful in this role, you will need:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Good communication and teamwork skills.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A reasonable level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and manoeuvre loads up to 25kg safely.</span></li>
