HGV Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver/Loader required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">My client requires an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver/Loader to join their waste and recycling team on a temporary ongoing contract. The role involves carrying out refuse collections across the Brentwood area as part of a busy operational team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Brentwood, CM13 3BH</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay: £20.78 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm (37 hours per week)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start Date: ASAP</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duration: Temporary ongoing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver/Loader</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out domestic waste and recycling collections across scheduled routes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with loading refuse and recycling into the collection vehicle</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure bins and receptacles are handled safely and returned appropriately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete collections in a professional and timely manner</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient waste collection service</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report any vehicle, equipment or collection issues to the relevant supervisor</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must hold a valid CPC qualification</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous refuse, waste collection or HGV driving experience is desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must have a good understanding of Health & Safety procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Physically fit and comfortable assisting with refuse loading</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team</p>
