Senior Architect / Associate – 10-Month Maternity Cover – Residential – Vectorworks

An established and design-focused architectural practice in Central/West London is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect / Associate to join their senior leadership team for a 10-month maternity cover . This is a crucial, strategic role with the potential to become permanent.

You will operate as a senior job runner across multiple live projects – managing both teams and client relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident, collaborative, and capable of leading from the front, representing the practice with professionalism and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, rather than focusing on a single scheme
• Manage internal teams, consultants, and client relationships across all project stages
• Contribute to high-level project strategy and delivery, supporting directors as part of the senior team
• Maintain quality across output and ensure efficient workflows using Vectorworks

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years post-Part III experience
• Proven track record of running complex residential and mixed-use projects
• Excellent client-facing and consultant coordination skills
• Good working knowledge of InDesign and BIM workflows
• Comfortable working at Associate/Senior/Director level
