<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay: £15.52 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duration: Temporary ongoing - 40 hours a week for 12 weeks and then possibility to go permanent</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: 05:45am - 14:15pm (hours may differ due to being on task and finish)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Potential: Permanent position available for the right candidate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy refuse and recycling collection team in Watton.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for carrying out daily food waste, refuse and recycling collections, working as part of a team to complete routes safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role operates on a Task & Finish basis, meaning finish times may vary depending on how quickly the daily route is completed.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily refuse, recycling and food waste collections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate collection vehicles and associated machinery safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist refuse loaders while out on your rounds</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete relevant paperwork and records in real time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle and machinery checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report any defects or issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and machinery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow safe lifting and handling procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with members of the public and other road users</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work effectively as part of a team to complete routes within the required service levels</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid HGV Class 2 licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 penalty points</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication and interpersonal skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable and self-motivated</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Willing to undertake a variety of tasks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Willingness to assist refuse loaders as part of the collection team</p>
