HGV Class 2 Drivers – Days & Nights

Locations: Gloucester, Cheltenham, Newent, Dursley, Cinderford and Tewkesbury

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Ongoing (depending on assignment)

The Role

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a variety of driving opportunities across Gloucestershire. With vacancies available in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Newent, Dursley, Cinderford and Tewkesbury, we have a range of positions to suit drivers looking for both day and night work.

Whether you are looking for an early start, a daytime driving role or night shifts, we have opportunities available across a variety of sectors, including local deliveries, multi-drop, palletised goods, trunking and general haulage, depending on the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation are completed accurately.
• Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with customers and site staff.
• Comply with drivers' hours regulations and working time

requirements.

• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working order.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A professional attitude and a strong commitment to road safety.
• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.
• Previous HGV driving experience is preferred, although

requirements may vary depending on the assignment.

• Flexibility to work days, nights or weekends where required.
