<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a well-established UK-based chemical manufacturing and distribution business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable employment, a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a modern, well-maintained fleet.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of chemical products to customers and sites across the UK.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The base salary is based on a 40-hour working week, with regular overtime available. Current drivers are earning around £60,000 per year, including overtime, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking to maximise their earning potential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will need to hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and digital tachograph card. ADR experience or certification is desirable, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be reliable, professional and safety-conscious, with a strong understanding of the responsibilities involved in operating an HGV.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely transporting chemical products to customers and designated sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complying with all relevant driving, transport and safety regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing all required delivery documentation accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring goods are handled and transported safely throughout each journey</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working professionally with customers and site personnel</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following company procedures relating to the transportation of hazardous goods</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing up to 4 nights out per week as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Undertaking regular overtime as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate records in accordance with drivers' hours and tachograph legislation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualifications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC qualification</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous HGV driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">ADR qualification desirable, but full training can be provided</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tanker or vacuum tanker experience desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with curtainside, GP, tank or vacuum tanker vehicles desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong commitment to health and safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, professional and punctual</p>
