<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plus alternative Saturdays 7am - 12pm paid at £24.58ph</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be doing:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be working alongside other technicians to repair and maintain a fleet of HGVs and trailers, working out of the vehicle maintenance workshop.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Trailer inspections and repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out PPM and/or fault finding on HGV/LGV units and trailers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moffat inspections and repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hydraulic works on multiple types of units / trailers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Electrical works on multiple types of units / trailers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work on bespoke "blower" trailers (including blowing equipment)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Fault-finding and brake testing/braking systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pre LOLER inspections to fleet, where applicable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Some aspects of welding and fabricating</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attend off-site breakdowns</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What are we looking for?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">NVQ Level 3 in HGV Motor Mechanics and experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good awareness of safe working practices / Health & Safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable: IRTEK qualification, HGV licence, Autoelectric qualification, hydraulic qualification or experience</p>
