<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Night Shift Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to a high standard. The role requires a confident and experienced technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician looking for a permanent night-shift position within a modern workshop environment.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on commercial vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Complete scheduled safety inspections and identify any additional repairs required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Repair and replace faulty components and vehicle parts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Work on mechanical, electrical and vehicle subsystem faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Follow the repair process from initial fault diagnosis through to completion.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Support other Technicians within the workshop where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Experience using modern diagnostic equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Previous experience working on commercial vehicles, trucks or heavy vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Ability to diagnose faults with minimal supervision.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Excellent problem-solving skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Strong attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Ability to follow workshop procedures and manufacturer guidelines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Good communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Full UK Driving Licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Experience with manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems would be advantageous but is not essential.</p>
