Job Title: HGV Parts Advisor (Afters Shift)

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Pay Rate: £14.84 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Afters / Evening Shift)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Contek Recruitment Solutions are proud to be working on behalf of our client, a major national automotive logistics operator, to recruit a reliable and organized HGV Parts Advisor to cover the Afters shift at their busy facility in Doncaster .

Working directly alongside the workshop team during afternoon and evening operations, you will oversee parts issuing, stock control, and procurement to keep the technician team supplied and the commercial fleet moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, log, check, and store incoming HGV parts, components, and workshop consumables.

• Pick and issue correct parts to technicians promptly to support smooth ongoing repair and maintenance schedules.

• Place component orders with approved suppliers and liaise regarding delivery timelines.

• Update computerized stock systems accurately and complete relevant administrative documentation.

• Maintain clean, organized, and secure parts stores in accordance with workshop Health & Safety standards.

Key Requirements

• Experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant, or Stores Person within the automotive or heavy commercial vehicle sector.

• Good working knowledge of motor vehicle parts and workshop operations.

• Proficient computer skills and experience navigating inventory or stock management software.

• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.

• Ability to work comfortably on a dedicated Monday to Friday afters shift.
