We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technicians for a leading commercial vehicle dealership in West Thurrock . Due to continued growth and increased customer demand, we are looking for a skilled Technician to join the workshop team on a permanent basis.

The Package

• £30.00 per hour
• £62,400 basic salary per year
• 40 hours per week
• 4-day working week – Tuesday to Friday
• 8:00pm – 6:30am
• 30-minute break
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Permanent position
• 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service

The Role

As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to a high standard.

The successful candidates will be confident carrying out fault-finding and diagnostics and will ideally have experience working within a main dealer or similar professional workshop environment .

You will also have access to ongoing training and development, including exposure to electric and next-generation commercial vehicle technology .

What We're Looking For

• HGV Technician Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Proven experience working on commercial vehicles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High standards of workmanship
• Main dealer experience preferred
