<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair work on the company's fleet of vehicles and trailers, ensuring that all vehicles are in safe working order.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>It’s crucial that all repairs are performed in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and company policies.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Additionally, you will need to safely operate all relevant equipment, machines, and tools, and complete all associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner.</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Key Skills & Knowledge</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>The ideal candidate should hold education to City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or possess an equivalent engineering discipline.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic in a similar role is essential.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>While it is preferable to hold an HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and a current ADR, these are not mandatory.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>You should demonstrate a strong working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant, and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>The role requires someone who can multitask, meet key deadlines, and exhibit rigorous fault-finding skills. You should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, showcasing strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.</span></li>
