<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">40-hour working week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Saturday morning 08:00–12:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic / Truck Mechanic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">involve:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working on braking systems, suspension, chassis and running gear</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working on hydraulic systems, hoses, cylinders and valves</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out MOT preparation and associated repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working on trailers and specialist commercial vehicle equipment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting general engineering, fabrication and repair work where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we’re looking for from the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic / Truck Mechanic </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of HGV systems and commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems would be highly advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification preferred</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to diagnose faults and work independently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A practical, hands-on approach to engineering</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic </p>
