<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced technician to join a busy engineering operation in East london, working on a fleet of buses and keeping vehicles safe, reliable and ready for service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Truck Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / PSV Mechanic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on engineering position where you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of PCV vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on buses.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing inspections, servicing and repairs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working on braking, suspension, steering, engines and other vehicle systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring vehicles meet required safety and operational standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing relevant maintenance documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of a professional engineering team on a shift basis. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you’ll need as HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Truck Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / PSV Mechanic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Technology or equivalent.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Bus Technician, PSV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A PCV licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance</p>
