<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join an established engineering team based at Bristol Airport.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied workshop and airside-based role where</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a range of specialist vehicles and equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Technician,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, reliable and operational.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying required repairs and parts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Carrying out inspections, brake tests and smoke tests.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Reporting defects and ensuring repairs are completed safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Working on a range of HGVs, specialist vehicles and plant equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Accurately recording completed work, inspections and parts used.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Keeping management informed of additional repairs, parts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Working closely with stores and colleagues to ensure parts are available and correctly recorded.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Completing all relevant paperwork and timesheets accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Working in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and company standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic who has a strong mechanical background and enjoys diagnosing and solving technical problems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• HGV Level 2 qualification.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Full UK driving licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Minimum 2 years' experience post-apprenticeship.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Proven experience working within an HGV environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Good understanding of Health & Safety</p>
