<p class="text-muted mb-3">Earning Potential – Salary:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£47,073 per annum basic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Standby: £25 per day/night</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Call-out: £15 per call plus overtime at 1.5x hourly rate (minimum 2 hours paid, even if job ends sooner)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an HGV Breakdown Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Stoke.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a proper breakdown role with a rotating shift pattern, standby payments, and call-out rates on top of a strong basic.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responding to breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Performing major and minor repairs to HGVs and commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining workshop inventory and cleanliness</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (essential)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience as an HGV Technician</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA Standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full, current UK driving licence – HGV licence beneficial but not essential</p>
