<p class="text-muted mb-3">We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic to join a busy workshop in Farnborough, maintaining a modern fleet of predominantly DAF vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role offering flexible working hours, a strong hourly rate and the opportunity to work across a varied HGV fleet.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete PMI inspections and vehicle safety checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out MOT preparation and inspections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain and repair a fleet made up of approximately 80% DAF and 20% Mercedes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard and kept roadworthy </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we're looking for from the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as an HGV Technician</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience carrying out PMI inspections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A reliable, practical approach and the ability to work independentlyThe workshop is open 7am–6pm, giving you flexibility around your working hours, although your start time will be no later than 8am.</p>
