<p class="text-muted mb-3">Interaction Technical are working in partnership with a leading commercial vehicle maintenance provider to recruit an experienced HGV Technician (Days) / Scania Fleet Specialist to join their established workshop team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Based on a salary of £43,000 per annum, additional overtime could increase your annual earnings to approximately:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">5 hours' overtime per week: £45,500 per annum</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">10 hours' overtime per week: £48,000 per annum</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">15 hours' overtime per week: £50,500+ per annum</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Technician,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a predominantly Scania fleet, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant with all relevant legislation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out planned servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on HGVs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stripping, inspecting and rebuilding major components, including engines, gearboxes, differentials and braking systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out detailed vehicle testing and diagnostic fault-finding</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT and DVSA</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity and efficiency</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with other technicians and workshop management to minimise vehicle downtime</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all company health & safety procedures and best engineering practices</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician – essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent – essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience stripping, inspecting and rebuilding vehicle components</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working with Scania vehicles – advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A full UK driving licence – essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a busy workshop team</p>
