<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults on a range of heavy commercial vehicles while working to manufacturer and DVSA standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on HGVs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete MOT preparation and inspections to DVSA standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles to a high standard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete accurate job cards and repair documentation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain excellent health and safety standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be considered for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will need:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to complete repairs and maintenance to a high standard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Own tools</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV or PSV licence desirable but not essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">IRTEC qualification desirable but not essential</p>
