HGV Technician

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for HGV Technicians for permanent positions based with our client in the Newark area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days and Night shifts available.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days/Afters - 2x Roles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">45 hour working week (average)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Rotating shifts: 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay rate: £24.00 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Nights - 2x Roles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">40 hour working week (average)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm to 6:00am</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay rate: £27.00 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role offers a varied workload, working on well-maintained vehicles including leading brands such as Scania, Volvo and DAF.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be operating within a well maintained, up-to-date workshop, providing the chance to work on a variety of tasks and develop your skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to high safety and operational standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct thorough HGV and trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation to ensure full VOSA compliance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain and repair HGV electrical and hydraulic systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete tasks efficiently, providing accurate updates while remaining focused under pressure</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV repair and servicing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Demonstrate practical experience and enthusiasm for the role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong attention to detail in inspections, repairs and documentation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team</p>
