Job Description & Overview
NHS Orkney is inviting applications for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker in Outpatients at The Balfour. You will carry out clinical duties under supervision, including phlebotomy, vital signs, ophthalmology tests and imaging, and pre‑operative assessments.
You will work with autonomy within protocols and mentor junior staff. The role is part‑time (27.5 hours/week), based in Orkney, and requires SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
