<p class="text-muted mb-3">NIGHT SHIFT</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£30.00 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£62.5k basic salary before overtime</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tuesday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">20:00 – 06:30</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">4-day working week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">40 hours per week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime paid at time and a half</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">ROTATING SHIFT</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Up to £24.00 per hour depending on experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">06:00 – 15:30 / 12:30 – 22:00 rotating shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">JOB DESCRIPTION</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An excellent opportunity has become available for experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy and successful commercial vehicle dealership in West Thurrock.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, the business is recruiting technicians across both its rotating day/evening shift and newly introduced fixed night shift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be working within a modern commercial vehicle workshop carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your responsibilities will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identifying and repairing defective or worn components</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring vehicles are maintained to DVSA and manufacturer standards</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing all relevant job cards and maintenance documentation</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working efficiently to maximise vehicle availability and workshop productivity</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be considered for either position, you should have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience working as an HGV Technician, Truck Technician or HGV Mechanic</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working within a commercial vehicle workshop</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good understanding of modern HGV systems and maintenance standards</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A full UK driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main dealer experience would be advantageous and may attract the higher rate of pay, although experienced HGV Technicians from independent or fleet workshop backgrounds will also be considered.</p>
