HGV Technician / Truck Mechanic | Relocate to Perth, Western Australia

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting experienced HGV Technicians / Truck Mechanics for the truck division of a national manufacturer and dealership group, based in Welshpool, Perth.

You will work on modern SITRAK heavy trucks featuring MAN engine technology, ZF transmissions and WABCO braking systems, with OEM training and long-term career opportunities in a well-equipped workshop.

What is on offer

$42 AUD/hr + superannuation (Australia’s retirement pension contribution, paid by your employer on top of your wages)

Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week

Afternoon shift available at $45 AUD/hr + superannuation

One-way flight to Perth + 2 weeks’ temporary Airbnb accommodation

482 visa sponsorship pathway

The role

Service, maintain and repair heavy trucks

Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and major component repairs

Work on engines, gearboxes, braking and electrical systems

Follow manufacturer procedures and workshop safety standards

What you need

Qualified HGV / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic — NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent

Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience

Strong truck servicing, repair and diagnostic experience

Experience with European truck brands such as MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, DAF or Iveco would be highly regarded

Open to relocating to Perth for a long-term opportunity

Visa pathway

Due to current sponsorship processing times, preference will be given to candidates who can initially relocate on a Working Holiday Visa, with a pathway to 482 sponsorship. UK or Irish passport holders aged 18–35 inclusive may be eligible, subject to meeting visa

requirements.
