Laundry Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Laundry Operatives based in the Fakenham area. Own transport is essential due to site location.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are seeking hardworking and reliable workers to join our team in a busy laundry environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for handling, sorting, washing, drying, and finishing laundry items to a high standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties and responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Sorting & Loading: Sorting dirty laundry by type, colour, or cleaning</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements; loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating Equipment: Using commercial laundry machinery including washers, dryers, folders, and presses (training provided).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Folding & Packing: Folding, pressing, and preparing clean laundry for dispatch or delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Quality Control: Inspecting items for cleanliness, damage, or staining; identifying items needing rewash or repair.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Health & Safety: Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times, including safe manual handling and use of PPE.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">General Housekeeping: Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised to maintain an efficient workflow.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Any other duties as required</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a laundry or production environment (preferred but not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work on your feet for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Willingness to work in warm and humid conditions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift pattern:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">06:00 - 14:30</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">14:30 - 23:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">23:00 - 06:00</p>
