Martis Search is partnering with a boutique, multi-asset class Hedge Fund to appoint a permanent Senior Hedge Fund “Trade Support” Analyst. The role is a Credit Middle Office role, which involves Syndicated Loans Middle Office experience.

If you come from an Investment Banking/ Sellside background and really want to make the jump to move into a Hedge Fund, then this could be your chance. The position also involves exposure to wider Credit products (from a Middle Office Operations perspective) such as Fixed Income, CDS, Cash Equities etc, so is such a great and unique opportunity.

This is a broad and hands-on Senior Trade Support role working within a boutique, but growing Hedge Fund.

Our client would like someone who is of graduate calibre (STEM subjects with solid academics), who has a proven:

• Multi-asset class Hedge Fund Middle Office background from either a Fixed Income, Credit, or Multi Strategy Hedge Fund with some Credit strategies background (Ideally 5-years plus experience).
• Solid Syndicated Loans Middle Office from an Investment Banking/ Sellside background (Ideally 5-years plus experience) and who wants to learn a broader spectrum of Credit investment products (from a Middle Office Operations perspective).

Due to the size of the Hedge Fund, the role responsibilities are broad.

Ideal product knowledge that they are looking for:

• Public Credit (Bank Loans/ Syndicated Loans)
• Fixed Income
• CDS
• Cash Equities
• Trade Support (Fixed Income, CDS, Bank Loans/ Syndicated Loans, Cash Equities)
• Liaison and managing day-to-day relationships with multiple Prime Brokers and Administrators
• Supervision of outsourced Loan Closing (Settlements)
• Reconciliations
• Project Management and change management

The role is hybrid. You must be comfortable working independently and taking initiative on data projects.
