<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Purpose</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Infeed Operative is responsible for ensuring that dirty trays, crates, and other reusable plastic packaging are safely and efficiently fed into the automated tray washing system. The role involves maintaining a consistent flow of materials, supporting production targets, and ensuring that all workplace health and safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receive and sort dirty trays, crates, and reusable packaging from incoming deliveries or production areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Inspect items for foreign objects, excessive contamination, damage, or unsuitable materials before feeding them into the wash system.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load trays and packaging onto the infeed conveyor in the correct orientation and at the required rate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain a steady flow of materials to ensure the tray wash line operates efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Remove damaged, unsuitable, or contaminated items and place them in the designated areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor the infeed conveyor and report blockages, faults, or operational issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all site health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the work area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with cleaning duties, including the removal of debris and general housekeeping around the infeed station.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with colleagues across the wash line to achieve daily production and quality targets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete any required production, quality, or safety records accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor or Production Manager.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or nights, may be required depending on operational needs.</p>
