<p class="text-muted mb-3">our client is looking to recruit two Management Accountants to join its finance team based in Appleton, Warrington.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing business where the role will be varied, visible and closely connected to operations.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting into the finance team, the Management Accountant will support the production of accurate and timely financial information, working closely with operational teams and heads of department to provide insight, challenge and support effective decision-making.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare management accounts and support month-end reporting.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Produce financial reports, variance analysis and clear commentary.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting activity.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and review accruals, prepayments and journals.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work with department heads to understand costs, performance and financial trends.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Help improve finance processes, controls and reporting as the business continues to grow.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide general support across the wider finance function as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for a proactive, reliable and commercially aware finance professional who is comfortable working in a hands-on role within a small team. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-focused and confident building relationships with non-finance colleagues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience preparing management accounts or supporting month-end processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work closely and effectively with operational and non-finance colleagues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Practical, flexible approach with the willingness to support the wider team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Studying towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA as a minimum requirement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within transport, logistics or a fast-paced operational business would be advantageous, but is not essential.Processing Your Data</p>
