VIE - Junior Buyer (m/f)

In this role you apply sourcing and supplier management to support Trackside commodities and the EOLANE project in Bologna. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet QCD targets and drive supplier performance. You will lead RFQ activities, negotiate cost reductions, and manage supplier issues, aligning procurement with project needs. • Identify project and business needs for Trackside commodities
• Prepare and launch RFQs with Italian and LLCC suppliers using standard tools
• Negotiate cost reductions with suppliers
• Provide inputs for order placement and monitor QCD targets
• Lead supplier QCD performance reviews and manage initial issues
• Ensure compliance with Alstom Code of Ethics and guidelines
• Consolidate commodity needs and support tender phases on site
• Represent commodities to projects, platforms and solutions; collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Apply Alstom Sourcing processes and capture feedback/experience
• Work with sourcing representatives to ensure work package commitments meet QCD targets

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
• Experience or understanding of sourcing and supplier relationship management
• Knowledge of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) principles
• Familiarity with SAP and advanced Excel
• A procurement or supply chain certification is a plus
• Fluency in French and English; Basic Italian knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage stress
