<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is looking for a responsible, friendly and reliable Minibus Driver to provide a professional and safe transport service for pupils.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily transportation of pupils to and from school, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout each journey.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours of Work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday-Friday: 6:30am-8:30am and 3:55pm-6:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tuesday afternoon: 4:55pm-7:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">34 weeks per year, term time only</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Annual leave is taken during school holiday periods.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job share will be considered, with days to be agreed. Salary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£13,695 per annum, including 5.6 weeks' pro-rata holiday pay, based on an hourly rate of £16.54.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely transport pupils to and from school as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks before departure.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use the designated transport app to record pupils boarding and leaving the vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain good order and appropriate behaviour on the vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report any vehicle defects or concerns promptly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all relevant minibus and transport procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all journeys are carried out in accordance with current Health & Safety and safeguarding</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Current clean UK driving licence with D1 or D entitlement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Aged 21 or over.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence held for at least two years.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous minibus driving experience is desirable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">MiDAS training or equivalent is desirable; training can be provided where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">New drivers will be required to complete vehicle familiarisation and an assessment drive.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and professional.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Friendly and approachable manner.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working with children and young people. Safeguarding</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful applicant must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An Enhanced DBS check will be required, along with appropriate safeguarding checks, checks with previous employers and a checkable work history.</p>
