Surrey & Sussex Contract
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next contract role?
We are recruiting for a mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a critical healthcare contract across Surrey and Sussex.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy facilities management team, maintaining a portfolio of essential sites including ambulance stations, make-ready centres and community outpost locations.
Working across multiple sites,
you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Duties & Responsibilities
Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
Repairing and replacing lighting, power sockets, distribution boards and power circuits
Completing emergency lighting tests and electrical PPMs
Undertaking minor electrical installations and remedial works
Supporting with general building fabric and minor plumbing repairs when required
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
Requirements
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous experience within Facilities Management
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
Full UK Driving Licence
No more than 6 points on licence
No driving ban within the last 5 years
Able to pass a Standard DBS check
Desirable Experience
NHS or healthcare environments
Ambulance, hospital or other critical facilities
Mobile maintenance roles

Company van and fuel card provided
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
40-hour working week
On-call rota of 1 week in every 4
Standby allowance and overtime paid for call-outs
