Multi Drop Van Driver

Job Summary

Corr Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Temp to Perm Van Drivers. In this role,

you will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent communication with customers, and adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic delivery operation while providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, warehouse experience, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting.

Duties

• Safely operate a commercial van to complete multiple deliveries across various locations within scheduled routes
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely
• Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate documentation for each drop
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after shifts
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including stock movement and inventory management when required
• Handle heavy lifting of packages or goods, following proper manual handling procedures
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during deliveries
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management for resolution
• Support team efforts by coordinating with warehouse staff and other drivers as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with van or commercial vehicle operation
• Valid driving license suitable for commercial driving (e.g., Category B or equivalent)
• Knowledge of local roads, routes, and navigation tools
• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning
• Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and traffic regulations

Salary & Terms

• £14.80 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 5am-6am start
• 9 hours shift
