£18.96 per hour The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include: General haulage using curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and retail stores Store collections for onward movement to Distribution Centres Supporting a variety of transport operations, including occasional store deliveries Loading and unloading cages when required Trunking work where operationally available Completing daily vehicle safety checks and all relevant paperwork Maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient service delivery Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, WTD, and Tachograph legislation
