Packing Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is one of the largest distributors of children's toys in Europe and due to continued growth, they are looking for packing operatives to join their team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will include the following:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Packing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Reboxing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Relabelling</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Repackaging</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>To assist the supervisors in all aspects of the packing line </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">></p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be handling various sized boxes and display cases and repacking products for various high street retailers and supermarkets. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Please note this is benchwork so</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be required to stand all day. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">There will be an element of bending and twisting due to the nature of the products you're handling. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is repetitive, light clean work. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be expected to work to both daily and weekly set targets due to the nature of the work and due to their clients' strict deadlines. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>Safety boots and hi-vis vest are essential for the position due to working in a warehousing environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> >Warm clothing maybe required due to the time of year and the warehouse doors being open. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>The hours of work are: 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>There will be opportunities for overtime potentially working until 6pm, Monday to Thursday and until 3pm on Fridays</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> >Overtime is paid at premium rates and once you have completed your set hours for the week. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">>You may be asked to work across either of the two sites depending on demands of the business, so flexibility is key.</p>
