Pallet Bander/Yard Operative

AMJ Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Pallet Bander to join a well-established business based in Nuneaton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking ongoing, full-time employment with consistent Monday-to-Friday working hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing products for dispatch, using a handheld banding machine to securely strap products onto pallets before transportation, bending up and down to the floor throughout the day.

Please note: This position is based entirely outdoors, so applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

Location: Nuneaton

Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time (Ongoing Work)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 07:00am – 15:30pm or 06:30am – 15:00pm

Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid per day

Start Date: 12th November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a handheld banding/strapping machine to secure products onto pallets.

• Preparing pallets and products ready for dispatch and transportation.

• Ensuring all products are safely and securely banded.

• Carrying out general yard duties as required.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Following all company health and safety procedures.

• Working efficiently to ensure daily dispatch

requirements are achieved.

Candidate

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a yard, warehouse, manufacturing or dispatch environment would be advantageous.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual, hands-on work.

• Reliable, punctual and committed to attending work consistently.

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
