Parcel Hub Operatives

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Barker Ross are looking for experienced Parcel Hub Operatives to join a busy distribution hub in the Nuneaton area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on, physically active role involving the sorting and movement of parcels throughout the hub.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be working on a conveyor belt, sorting parcels and manually moving them onto cages, pallets and other areas of the site.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key duties include</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Sorting parcels from a belt into the correct cages and areas</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manually handling and moving parcels throughout the hub</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading cages and pallets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using pump trucks/pallet trucks where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a safe and tidy working environmentFurther Information:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Boots, Hi Vis & Gloves required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Temp to perm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Sunday-Thursday OR Monday - Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent training and progression oppurtunities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days and Nights available with varied shift times</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£12.71 Per hourPrevious warehouse, parcel or distribution experience is essential, and pallet truck experience would be advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are particularly interested in candidates who are looking for a long-term opportunity, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment. There are also genuine training and progression opportunities, with existing staff able to progress into Team Leader, Team Manager and Hub Manager positions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30kg</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Boots, Hi Vis & Gloves required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to commit to 8 hour shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a similar role is essential</p>
