Parcel Sorter

<p class="text-muted mb-3">CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting a Parcel Sorter on behalf of our client based in Warrington, WA1.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role is physically demanding & can involve working unsociable hours depending on the demand. We’re looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Handballing parcels</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Segregating different types of mail</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Operating sorting machines</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Working in a team to safely load vans ready for despatch</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Maintaining a safe and clean working environment</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Following standard processes & operating procedures</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Required Skills and Experience:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Previous experience within a warehouse environment is preferred.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Able to lift lightweight and heavy parcels, weighing up to 15-20kg each.</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay Rate: £13.29</p>
