Part Time Warehouse Operative

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives and Production Operatives to join a successful and vibrant team based in Crawley, near London Gatwick Airport. As a Warehouse Operative,

you will play a pivotal role in ensuring products and goods are prepared, handled and distributed to airline customers in line with strict scheduling

requirements.

About the Role

Our client is a leading provider of inflight catering, onboard retail and logistics services to major airlines operating across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and operational excellence.

Key Information

Pay Rate: £13.39 Per Hour (£18.08 for overtime)

Hours: Part Time between 20 to 30 hours per week (more shifts may be available), 8 hour shifts between 05.00 to 22.00 Monday to Sunday. You need to be fully flexible between the shift times and days.

Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm

Location: Crawley, RH10

Key Responsibilities

Bar Packer:

· Picking and packing airline bar equipment to strict airline standards

· Ensuring all bar contents are correctly packed and sealed

· Restocking bars returned from flights

· Searching and sealing products in line with security procedures

· Working in a bonded warehouse while adhering to CAA regulations

Warehouse Operative:

· Receiving goods into the warehouse

· Stock distribution and stock control

· Maintaining accurate records for all products

· Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant

· Following all bonded warehouse and CAA regulatory

requirements

Skills, Knowledge and

Requirements

· Comfortable handling pork products, alcohol, and tobacco

· Prepared to stand for long periods and undertake manual tasks

· Good mobility and strong work ethic

· Must be 18 years of age or over

· Willing to work in a chilled environment

· Basic numeracy and English skills

· Reliable and able to follow detailed procedures

Requirements

Due to working in the Aviation Sector, If you are successful, we will need to carry out the following:

· Basic DBS Check (Criminal Record Check - No cost, Blue Arrow will cover this)

· 5 Year Employment History Check including references

· International Check (If you have worked outside of the UK in the last 5 years)
