Our client, an established electrical services company based in Brentwood, is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join their team.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Role and responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries
• Booking and arranging customer appointments
• Liaising with engineers and internal teams
• Updating customers on job progress and appointment times
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Taking accurate messages and ensuring information is passed to the relevant team
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate customer records
• Providing general administrative support where required

Requirements

• Previous customer service or administration experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and friendly telephone manner
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
• A proactive and positive approach to work
