Payroll Assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Weymouth, Dorset client who is currently in need of a Payroll Assistant to join their team.

As Payroll Assistant

you will be supporting in the day-to-day processing of weekly and monthly payroll ensuring all employees details are up to date.

You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and in a small team of payroll specialists.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local business, to be a fundamental part of their close-knit finance team.

What will the Payroll Assistant role involve?

Collate weekly and monthly payroll data from attendance systems

Amend overtime and shift patterns on payroll

Calculate complex elements of the payroll accurately

PAYE, SSP, SMP calculations

Up to date with all payroll legislation and HMRC processes

Payroll reports for management meetings

Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy:

Experience working in a similar position, with good understanding of collating payroll

Experience working to strict deadlines

Confident excel user
