Product Quality Assurance Technician - Fruit

The position of Product Quality Assurance Technician will work with a committed & energetic team, gaining the opportunity to learn and develop QC Intake / Product Management knowledge to begin a successful career within the industry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting to the Product Quality Coordinator, the position of Product Quality Assurance Technician will be based at a facility in West Sussex and will work as an integral part of a quality team managing the QC intake and allocation of fresh produce / fruit.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensuring that correct version of specifications and documents is used.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Monitor packing line standards and report any issues relating to quality, foreign body risks, packaging defects or labelling errors</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Making sure that all equipment used is maintained in a good state and calibrated in correct intervals.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Support taste panels, shelf-life assessments and product checks where applicable</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Communicate effectively with QA Manager, Production, Line Leaders and other departments regarding quality concerns and improvements</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We require;</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An experienced QC/QA/Product focused individual with quality / technical / QC / QA gained from the Fresh Produce sector</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Fresh Produce exposure would be ideal</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of the quality standards & product quality expected by retail customers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive, passion and dedication is key for success in this position</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary; Up to £35,500k + excellent Benefits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce business, at an integral time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The post holder will need to be flexible with their working hours covering both day and night shifts and duties to the seasonal nature of the business and operating 7 days a week. There may be scope during quieter times to work in other areas of the business e.g. farming operations.</p>
