Our client, a leading Architectural Practice based in Chorley, Lancashire, is currently seeking a Project Architect to join their growing team. Renowned for delivering innovative and technically complex Healthcare projects across the UK,

our client is able to be flexible with this appointment and is keen to speak with candidates across a broad range of experience. Whether you are a talented Part II Architectural Assistant approaching qualification, a newly qualified Architect, an experienced Project Architect or an Associate Architect looking for your next challenge, they are committed to finding the right individual to complement their expanding team.

The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of healthcare environments, including acute hospitals, community healthcare, specialist clinical facilities and mental health schemes, whilst also gaining exposure to projects across a variety of other sectors. You'll have the opportunity to work on multiple technically challenging projects throughout all RIBA Stages within a collaborative and highly respected practice.

With significant investment being made across the UK's healthcare infrastructure, our client continues to secure exciting new commissions and is looking to strengthen its architectural team over the coming months.

Project Architect Overview

Lead or support the delivery of projects across the Healthcare sector and a variety of other sectors, depending on experience

Work on a diverse portfolio including hospitals, community healthcare, specialist clinical and mental health facilities

Manage projects throughout all RIBA Stages from concept through to completion

Produce high-quality design and technical information using Revit

Coordinate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery

Prepare Planning and Building Regulations submissions

Attend client, consultant and design team meetings

Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team where appropriate

Manage multiple projects while maintaining high design and technical standardsProject Architect

Requirements

Part II Architectural Assistant, ARB Registered Architect, Project Architect or Associate Architect considered

Experience working within a UK Architectural Practice

Good working knowledge of Revit or a willingness to continue developing BIM skills

Healthcare sector experience advantageous but not essential

Strong design, technical and communication skills

Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and the RIBA Plan of Work

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Based within a commutable distance of ChorleySalary & Benefits

Competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000+ DOE, depending on experience
