Position: Qualified Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Location: Erdington, B23

We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant to work for a number of our schools based in Erdington and surrounding areas. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to cover day to day supply, short-term bookings and long-term roles.

As a qualified Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of:

Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher

Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom

Providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils

Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed

De-escalating behavioural conflicts and recognising good behaviour in accordance with the schools policiesTeaching Assistant Requirements

Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)

Qualified (e.g. Level 2, Level 3 or Undergradtuate degree in Education/Childcare)
