Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver

WSR are recruiting for a Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver  for a 6-Month FTC with our reputable client in Milton Keynes.

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £29,250 – £31,200 per annum (pro rata) (£15-£16 p/h)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in Knoll Hill, Milton Keynes, on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll play an important part in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently, while maintaining high standards of stock accuracy and warehouse organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.

Receiving incoming deliveries, checking goods and booking stock into the warehouse system.

Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.

Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stock checks.

Ensuring finished products are packed securely and to a high standard.

Supplying raw materials and components to production teams as required.

Processing goods movements and production orders using SAP.

Organising warehouse storage locations and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

What We're Looking For

Valid, in-date Reach AND Counterbalance forklift licences are essential. Both licences must be current, as expired licences cannot be accepted and refresher training will not be provided.

Proven experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts within a warehouse environment.

Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.

Good stock control and inventory management experience.

Knowledge of SAP or a similar warehouse management system would be advantageous.

Good IT skills, with the ability to accurately process stock movements and orders.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

A proactive, reliable and flexible approach to work.

What's on Offer?

Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 – £16.00, depending on experience.

Consistent daytime working hours, Monday to Friday.

Six-month fixed-term contract.
