Receptionist

Our client is a long-established business looking for a friendly, organised receptionist to be the first face visitors see. You'll create a welcoming first impression and keep the front of house running smoothly.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Receptionist duties will include:

• Greeting visitors and clients in person, signing them in and letting the right people know they've arrived
• Answering and directing telephone calls and taking clear messages
• Managing the shared inbox and general enquiries
• Booking meeting rooms and arranging appointments
• Handling incoming and outgoing post and courier deliveries
• Keeping the reception area and meeting rooms tidy and well stocked
• Ordering stationery and office supplies
• Providing general administrative support to the team, such as filing, data entry and photocopying

About you

Essential experience for the receptionist:

• Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role
• A friendly, professional manner and a confident telephone voice
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Well organised, able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive, can-do attitude
