Refuse Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Drivers with CPC Card are required for ongoing temporary work in Chelmsford.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is looking for hard-working, reliable staff to drive around Chelmsford removing waste and recyclable from homes and businesses and take away for disposal or recycling. If you are physically fit and work well in a team, this job is for you.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In this role you will need to work quickly and cleanly and remain polite and professional with the public. Be upbeat, proactive and positive, with a 'can-do' attitude. You must also have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work activities include:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>using a lifting mechanism to tip the waste from bins into the lorry</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>reporting any problems with waste collections</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>help waste collection operatives with collections</span></li>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">2 years HGV driving experience required but not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working hours:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">6:30/7am start - 9.25 hours a day (job and finish)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tuesday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">37 hours a week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">(overtime available depending on workload)</p>
