<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're working with an award-winning, employee-owned freight forwarding group that is continuing to grow its road freight operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">They're looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator / Road Freight Coordinator who understands the full shipment lifecycle - from initial quotation through to final delivery - and enjoys working in a busy, commercially focused environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role within a growing team, so it would suit someone who is energetic, commercially aware and enjoys taking ownership rather than simply processing shipments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What will you be doing?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll take responsibility for the full operational lifecycle of road freight movements, including:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing import and export road freight shipments from quotation through to delivery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Arranging and coordinating groupage, LTL and FTL movements</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working with subcontractors and transport partners to secure the right solutions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring shipments and proactively dealing with any issues or delays</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecycle</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing quotations and identifying commercially viable solutions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What are we looking for?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The key requirement is genuine road freight forwarding experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally, you'll have experience across both imports and exports, with a good understanding of:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Groupage / LTL / FTL</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Subcontracting and carrier management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Road freight quotations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shipment monitoring and tracking</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Customs and cross-border movements</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The salary is £27,000-£33,000, with flexibility up to £35,000 for the right experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">There is also a financial KPI incentive scheme available, providing an additional opportunity to earn on top of your basic salary when certain performance targets are achieved.</p>
