Sea Freight Forwarding Clerk

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is a well-established independent freight forwarder and import customs broker. With an established solid and varied client base they can handle the safe transportation of goods, whether that is via air, sea or road freight worldwide at highly competitive prices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Now due to expansion they are recruiting at their Manchester office which is based at Manchester Airport for an experienced Sea Freight Forwarding Clerk. Handling both exports and imports but in the main a sea exports role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your role will involve handling the full sea freight cycle. Taking sea freight exports and Import bookings.Completing all ocean documentation, including MBL/HBL/Shipping instructions etc...</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be conversant with export entry</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements via CHIEF/CDS and HMRC procedures. MS word, outlook, excel.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be confident in one-to-one conversation and liaising/negotiating with shipping lines and overseas partners</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience within Sea Freight Forwarding gained from working for freight forwarder with excellent communication skills, a flexible approach with the ability to develop effective relationships across all levels.</p>
