Security Manager

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Manager to join a leading international organisation operating within a highly secure, specialist logistics environment in the Heathrow area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a key leadership appointment within the business, taking responsibility for the day-to-day security operation while working closely with senior management, operational teams and the wider organisation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will need a strong background within security; however, this appointment is just as much about leadership style, communication and teamwork as it is technical security experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for someone who is approachable, visible and collaborative. Someone who can work autonomously and make confident decisions when required, but who doesn't operate in isolation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsibilities of the Security Manager:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the security function.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead, manage, support and develop members of the security team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Establish clear expectations, accountability and consistently high standards across the department.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work collaboratively with senior management, operational teams and other departments across the business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Build strong relationships and ensure Security is an integral part of the wider operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Oversee site security procedures, security coverage and incident response.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage access control, badging, visitor screening and credential-management processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and operational security concerns.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage security investigations, escalation logs and subsequent corrective actions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure incidents are appropriately investigated, documented and followed through to conclusion.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Develop effective processes and controls around security incidents and investigations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Review existing security procedures and identify potential vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with internal and external stakeholders responsible for CCTV, alarms, access-control systems and other security technology.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure security systems are effectively monitored and any issues or escalations are appropriately resolved.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong previous experience within Security Operations, Protection, Risk Management or a similarly security-sensitive environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience managing, leading and developing a security team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of physical and site security.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing security incidents and investigations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge and experience of access control, CCTV, alarms and wider security systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within a highly secure, regulated, high-value or operationally complex environment would be highly advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£60,000 - £80,000 basic salary, depending on experience</p>
