Senior HR Advisor – Northampton

£22.38 PAYE

Location: Northampton – Hybrid (2–3 days on site)

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: 6 Months

LYNX Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a busy public sector HR team in Northampton.

This is a hands-on role combining complex employee relations casework with organisational change, including supporting a significant TUPE transfer involving housing services.

We're looking for a confident HR professional who can hit the ground running, advise managers effectively and manage sensitive HR matters independently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability.

Provide expert HR advice to managers on employment law, policies and procedures.

Support TUPE transfers, restructures and organisational change programmes.

Coach managers through challenging employee relations situations.

Analyse workforce information and contribute to HR service improvements.

What We're Looking For

Strong generalist HR advisory experience, including complex case management.

Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.

Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent demonstrable experience, alongside degree-level education.

Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within local government, public sector or housing services would be particularly advantageous.

Previous TUPE experience is highly desirable.
