12-month initial contract (until end of March '26)

Solihull - 4 days pw onsite

£30ph (Inside IR35), 40 hrs pw

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Liaison Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

As Liaison Engineer , your main responsibilities are:

• Lead/drive activities to reduce manufacturing variability
• Internal & external KPI monitoring & reporting
• Key contact, supporting plant issues
• Change Management support

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier quality operations and processes
• Comprehensive problem-solving knowledge - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified
• Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience in an Engineering function
• Be able to apply common processes, standards and utilise a back-to-basics approach
• Able to form good working relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Strong understanding of people and emotional intelligence is a plus
• Creates a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together
